From the day we signed Bill Shields up their level of care was superior. We all felt such a relief after being so overwhelmed with the care of Bill. Elizabeth sat and explained the entire program and answered all of our questions. She made us feel at ease and that there were no stupid questions. The same day, all the equipment and supplies we needed started arriving. Ryan arrived a few days later and was incredible. Both Elizabeth and Ryan made sure we knew they were there to help and available whenever we needed. Kristy Hamilton was our social worker and she was amazing as well. I love the way the staff took care of Bill and the entire family as well. Constantly checking to make sure WE were ok. Asking what we needed as a family and caregivers. After talking with 2 other hospice company. We decided on TLC. I won't lie it was a little ruff the night she came home . Not because of TLC but because Kaiser Permanente discharged coordinator Mabel had her going home at 730 pm. Nothing good happens with a late discharge. TCL nurses were very nice, compassionate, respectful and knowledge. My sweet Mamma passed away the next afternoon. Special thanks to Gina, Carrie and Dr. Tushla for helping us through the process.
