- IgE is associated with classic, immediate allergic reactions, which can include symptoms like sneezing, itching, hives, or swelling.
- IgG reflects delayed immune responses that may be associated with sensitivities and longer-term or less obvious symptoms.
- IgG4 is often linked to immune tolerance and may indicate repeated or ongoing exposure to an antigen without a strong inflammatory response.
